Troubleshooting Tips For Rampage IV Formula Bios Settings

Over the past few weeks, some of our readers have reported that they have come across BIOS settings of the Rampage IV formula.

    Using the regular OC profile, the BIOS set the configuration to 125MHz with a 35x best multiplier for all cores under load (4375MHz total). Future adjustments were also made automatically by me:

    – VCore Profile 1.4 V
    – mountain bike 1.2 V
    – 1.2V VCCSA
    – Memory 1.67 W
    – 1.35V CPU PLL
    – Load line calibration aborted – Medium
    – Memory switched to DDR3-2000

    In the normal OC profile, the circuit failed to start, causing the BIOS code to show 40, VGA problems.

    Using the gamer profile, the BIOS kept the feature at 100MHz, but the frequent multiplier was at 47x-44x depending on body load. The system set the CPU voltage to 1.4V without overclocking the memory. The gamer profile was stable in the OS and allowed for centralized boot as shown in the BIOS. When loaded into the OCCT, the voltage reported by the OS was 1.368V and the maximum temperature of 71°C was reached by the OCCT.

    – Level 1: 103 MHz multiplied by 39 (displayed 4017 MHz), 1.232 V under load due to maximum temperature of 55 °C for OCCT and PovRay.
    – Stage 2: 125 MHz with 33x multiplier (4 MHz 125), voltage 1.272 under load, at 57°C during PovRay 58°C and during OCCT.
    – Stage 3: 125MHz, 34x multiplied (4250MHz), showed 1296V no load, 58°C during PovRay and OCCT.

    With the manual overclocking style described above, the following steps are followed:

    – 4400 MHz was stable since you set 1.300 volts on the VCore which shows 1.264 OS volts under load. The recorded temperature was 59°C during PovRay and 61°C after OCCT.
    – The stable frequency of 4500 MHz has since been set to 1.375 volts VCore, showing 1.344 volts under OS load. The temperature was recorded at 66°C during PovRay and 68°C during OCCT.
    – 4600 MHz was still stable at 1.375 volts VCore and shows 1.344 volts when booting the OS. Temperatures were recorded as well as 67°C during PovRay and 68°C during OCCT.
    – The 4700 MHz stable frequency was set to 1.375 volts VCore every time, showing 1.344 volts under OS load. The temperature was recorded at 68°C during PovRay and 69°C during OCCT.
    – 4800 MHz was stable with the VCore 1-400 volts setting and showed 1.368 volts in the OS under load. RegisteredMy temperature was exactly 70°C during PovRay and 71°C during OCCT.
    – 4900 MHz was stable after setting 1 at 0.450 volts VCore, showing 1 volt 408 in OS under load. The recorded temperature was 75°C during PovRay and 76°C during OCCT.
    – 5000 MHz was stable at 1500 volts on the VCore, showing 1456 volts under OS load. The recorded temperature was 80°C during PovRay and 83°C during OCCT.
    – 5100 MHz was intermittent, may have been set to 1.625 volts on VCore. In the OS, it showed 1600 volts under load, as well as 89C during PovRay, but usually the system turned off the processor and reduced the voltage to 43x so as not to damage other components.

    – 4750 MHz was stable when set to 1 at 0.375 volts VCore and showed a voltage of 1.344 in the OS load at. The recorded temperature was 68°C during PovRay and 68°C during OCCT.
    – MHz 4875 worked stably when installing 1450 volts VCore when showing 1 volt 408 in the OS under load. Temperatures were recorded during 74°C PovRay and 75°C during OCCT.
    – 5000MHz was stable if you can set 1.Volt 550 on VCore which shows 1.512V in At-Os load. The temperature was recorded at 84°C during PovRay and 86°C during OCCT.

    Auto overclocking is commonly used in the Rampage IV formula

    Using the normal overclocking profile, the BIOS tuned the main system to 125MHz with a full 35x multiplier across all cores under all workloads (4375MHz total). Profile 1 also created the following settings:

    With a normal OC profile, the configuration booted successfully and showed 1.408V under load, resulting in a load of 71°C using PovRay and 73°C with an OCCT load.

    Using the current gamer profile, the BIOS left the system at 100MHz, but some multipliers went up to 47x-44x depending on the core load. The system set this CPU voltage to 1.4V without overclocking the memory. The gamer profile was stable in the OS, which resulted in the BIOS being set to baseload. When recharging during OCCT, the operating system reported voltage 1,0 V, 376 plus the maximum temperature of 70 °C reached by OCCT.

    Using the Extreme OC (Low Current) profile, the BIOS increased the CPU and BCLK 131 bar to 0.25MHz with a 38x multiplier for all cores (total 4985MHz). The following actions have been taken:
